A New Opportunity for NSW Households to Cut Energy Costs

Who Can Apply?
The zero-interest loan is available to eligible homeowners and landlords with a combined annual taxable household income of up to $210,000.

- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Meet the household income requirements
- Use the loan for eligible energy-saving upgrades
- Apply through one of the participating finance providers
The NSW Government has also announced that discounts of up to $4,000 are expected to become available later in 2026 for eligible households with a combined annual income of up to $80,000, or for eligible concession card holders.
